Krovblit
David Krovblit, a Toronto native, has established his home in California. Launching his career in the realm of photography, he earned recognition as a commercial photographer prior to his shift towards fine art. His artistic method marries the old with the new, employing both traditional and contemporary collage techniques—manually cutting and pasting images in a manner reminiscent of early 20th-century artists.
Krovblit has honed his craft by incorporating digital manipulation, allowing him to adjust and print his images to precise scales. He then returns to the tactile process, carefully hand-cutting and assembling each segment, masterfully blending past and present methods to produce timeless works of art.
