Overview
Francesco Doria's artwork focus on the relationship between the real and the imaginary using a mixed technique that involves both the photographic art and that of figurative drawing. The combination of these two techniques makes it possible to represent in the same work both what the eye sees and what the observer feels or thinks while observing a given situation. Painting or drawing often takes on a symbolic role that interacts with neighbouring photography to create new ways of interpreting the image.
